Know What You've Got

The Potting Goblin

Because "that one plant" isn't going to cut it.

Not all green things are created equal. Knowing what kind of plant you have is the first step to keeping it alive--and actually thriving. Different plants want different things. Some like to dry out. Some don't. Some want to vine, some stay compact, and some will try to crawl up your walls if you're not paying attention.

Every plant we sell comes tagged with both the common name and the scientific name, so there is no guesswork. If you want to go deeper, we're all for it--Google Lens, ID apps, and a little internet rabbit-holing can take you a long way. The more you know, the better you grow.

Rebel Tip: Even if two plants look the same, their needs might be different. Pothos and Philodendron are cousins--not twins.
